Representatives Jeff Miller (FL-01) and Steve Southerland, II (FL-02) announced today that they will be hosting a joint town hall meeting on Tuesday, March 22^nd in Destin, FL.  The Okaloosa County forum is open to the public, and local media is encouraged to attend.

“Congressman Southerland and I share portions of both Okaloosa and Walton Counties, so we decided it would be a good idea to do a joint meeting to reach as many of our constituents as possible,” said Miller.  “Town hall meetings are critical to the democratic process.  I always look forward to hearing the concerns of the people Northwest Florida and this type of setting provides an excellent forum for the exchange of ideas.”

“Tuesday’s joint town hall meeting reflects Congressman Miller’s and my shared interest in working together for Okaloosa and Walton Counties,” said Southerland.  “By maintaining an open and personal dialogue with the people who have entrusted us to serve, Mr. Miller and I will be better able to fight for a stronger economy and new jobs in Northwest Florida.”
